Farm or Forest Classification
New owners of real estate qualified as farm or forest land must make an application for the designation as such to the Assessor between September 1 and November 1 to be applicable on the current October 1 Grand List, which will be billed next July.
Owners currently receiving the benefit who have changed the title or use of the property must file an updated application.
